The journey begins early in Tirana. From there, travelers head toward the stunning Komani Lake while enjoying the changing landscapes of northern Albania.

After arriving at the lake, guests board our modern and comfortable boat. Then, the tour continues with a relaxing cruise through the dramatic scenery of Komani Lake.

During the boat ride, visitors can enjoy the warm wind, fresh mountain air, and occasional water droplets from the lake. Meanwhile, the surrounding mountains create breathtaking views in every direction.

Can I do this tour from Tirana Airport on arrival day?

You can do Tirana Airport to Shala River tour only if your flight lands before 5:45 AM. If your flight schedule does not allow you to arrive at the designated pickup point by 5:45 AM, you can book our private taxi transfer instead. Otherwise, stay overnight in Tirana and do the tour the next day.

Yes, you can. The water is shallow near the shore (30-50 cm), and you can keep your life jacket from the boat. During the summer season the water is relatively cold (15–18°C) making it highly refreshing even for non-swimmers.

No, lunch is not included in the tour. You can have lunch at local restaurants, which serve fresh and local products. Bring cash as there are no ATMs at Shala River.

10:15 AM – Arrival at Shala River
Welcome to the “Thailand of Albania”. Enjoy about five hours to swim, canoe along the peaceful river and relax on white pebble beaches, with ziplining and riverside guesthouses as optional extras.

3:00PM – Departure from Shala River
Take one last cruise through the canyons as we return to the starting point.

3:30PM – Arrival at Koman Lake
The boat tour ends here. Guests on our round-trip transport board the bus back to Tirana.

7:30PM – Arrival in Tirana
The bus returns to the city center drop-off, ending your day trip to Koman Lake and Shala River.
