Yes, you can. The water is shallow near the shore (30-50 cm), and you can keep your life jacket from the boat. During the summer season the water is relatively cold (15–18°C) making it highly refreshing even for non-swimmers.

No, lunch is not included in the tour. You can have lunch at local restaurants, which serve fresh and local products. Bring cash as there are no ATMs at Shala River.

Water temperature at Shala River is 15-18°C (59-64°F) even in summer. It's mountain spring water, so it stays cold year-round.
Most people still swim; you get used to it after a few minutes. Others just dip their feet in or float for a bit, enjoying the refreshing waters of Shala River.

The signal is weak or nonexistent on Komani Lake and at Shala River. Download offline maps, podcasts or music before the tour. The lack of signal forces you to actually enjoy the scenery, which is exactly why tourists book this tour.

9:30 - Izbraukšana no Komana ezera
Sail through the fjord-like landscapes, where towering cliffs, emerald-green water and unspoiled nature make for a memorable cruise.

Welcome to the “Thailand of Albania”. Enjoy about five hours to swim, canoe along the peaceful river and relax on white pebble beaches, with ziplining and riverside guesthouses as optional extras.

15:00 - Izbraukšana no Šalas upes
Take one last cruise through the canyons as we return to the starting point.

Z dostępnych opcji rejsu był to najlepszy wybór! Kształt łodzi bez zadaszenia pozwala na zrobienie epickich zdjęć czy nagrań. Dodatkowo macie mięciutkie siedziska co poprawia komfort rejsu. Szybkość łodzi również daje o wiele ciekawsze odczucia z rejsu. Parking kosztował 5 euro i 20 min spacerkiem pod górkę i przez tunel. Po wyjściu z tunelu kierujcie się na prawą stronę tam ich  znajdziecie. Kontakt przez whatsup wzorowy, bardzo pomocni. Polecam i pozdrawiam serdecznie !

Mit Abstand der beste Tour Anbieter. Das Personal vor allem auf dem Boot war extrem freundlich. Sie haben die modernsten Boote, so dass super komfortabel ist und man sehr schnell an den jeweiligen Orten ist und den ganzen Massen etwas entkommen kann. Alles war super organisiert. Le point de rdv a super bien été indiqué (par mail), le transport en bus a été plutôt agréable (en enlevant 3 Australiennes se croyant seules...) et que dire du bateau, se fut exceptionnel🤩 Nous avons voquer à grande vitesse sur le lac tout en profitant également de quelques moment pour prendre des photos des paysages à couper le souffle🏞️ Un grand merci à tout le personnel qui a été exemplaire du début à la fin !

 Verified Leuke daguitstap met gezin (14- en 16- jarige)
Het was een mooie en onvergetelijke dagtrip. Het busje waar we ‘s morgens de rit naar Komani lake mee maakten, was een klein minpuntje. De verantwoordelijke was niet echt vriendelijk. Het was wel een partner van North Albania boat nl. northern Escape. Er was zeer weinig beenruimte en aangezien wij allemaal vrij groot zijn, viel dit wat tegen. Ik moet wel zeggen dat de terugrit dit volledig heeft goed gemaakt ( grote bus). Eens aangekomen aan Komani lake, hebben we even moeten wachten en konden we de snelle boot op. Dit maakte het super leuk en de omgeving is gewoonweg adembenemend. Eens aangekomen in Shala river, ben je vrij. We zijn daar ongeveer 4,5 uur ge rest. Leuke ervaring. Je kan ligbedjes huren. Shala river is heel mooi maar wel heel toeristisch. Ivm de North Albania boat: stipt, goede organisatie, de snellere boot maakte het extra leuk.

Bästa och snabbaste båten av alla där. Båten tar endast 20 personer vilket gör att man inte behöver sitta i värmen länge vid på och avstigning. Kaptenen stannde på de finaste platserna för foto.

Definitely a highlight of the trip and a must do for anyone who visits the area. I researched several other companies and feel like I made a great choice. The boat was very comfortable - compared to many others that looked…rustic. The lake and river were both beautiful! We stopped to swim in the river and it was very cold, but definitely worth a quick dip. Communication with the company was very easy and everyone we met was super friendly. We were given two options for parking - free parking in a public lot or paid parking at a nearby coffee bar. The paid parking was 100% worth it. One thing to be aware of is that there is no shade on the boat. We were there on a mild day and there were shady spots along the way, but I don’t know what it would be like in the middle of summer. I would suggest bringing a hat just to be safe. Also, I read several reviews that mentioned how rough the road is getting there. When we were there we hit a few miles of rocky road, but the rest was paved and they are actively paving the rest of the road now.

Wir hatten uns wegen des Schnellbootes und des deutschen Guids extra für diesen Ausflug entschieden. Da das Wasser sehr niedrig war, mussten wir doch mit einem anderen Boot fahren, was hin auf dem Hinweg nicht störte. Hier gab es einen Stopp an einer kleinen Höhle. Auf dem Rückweg stand das Boot ein paar Kurven entfernt, hier hätte ich mir ein Umsteigen gewünscht. Leider hat der Guide auf der Fahrt nichts erzählt. Der Transfer mit dem Bus war bestens.
